Most people know that Milkman is born from real milk. But did you know that is was re-born from an earthquake? When the original California-based Milkman facility was damaged by powerful tremors from an earthquake, production of the beloved powdered real milk slowly came to a halt and eventually stopped altogether in 2008.

In 2010, Marron Foods stepped in to revive production of this essential and wholesome source of protein and nourishment. Thanks to overwhelming support from Milkman’s loyal following and new customers alike, Milkman has continued its proud legacy.

A key part of that legacy is showing up for people when natural disaster strikes. Milkman donates free product all across the nation to communities large and small when storms, earthquakes and floods make finding fresh milk difficult or impossible. Because of Milkman’s long shelf life and nutrition, the product has offered a small help to people in need.

We consider ourselves lucky to be the new stewards of this great brand. And we are even luckier to be able to give back to communities in need.
